Trans help needed

I have a couple issues with my trans that im looking for some help with. Truck is a 92 w350 dually automatic 4wd.

First problem: Truck wont go into o/d. This is kind of the least of my concerns as i've been reading that there are a few options to fix this issue.

Second problem: When i put the truck in Drive and take off it stays in 3rd gear. If i manually shift the truck on the column it shifts perfectly fine. Trans isnt slipping, fluid doesnt look to bad, but not the best. Any advice to solve this problem would be much appreciated.

Also, being new to these trucks i obviously dont know to much about them. Is there a difference between a regular Ram and a Power Ram?

Thanks

Easy one first - a Power Ram is a 4X4, a Ram is a 2wd.

Read this for help on the OD issue: https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...77&postcount=2

Starting out in 3rd sounds like a stuck governor.

Sounds like your gov lever on the side of the trans is stuck in the forward position. Had that happen to me once, The tv cable actually popped out of the end of it.
