Trans gears?
What's the spacing on the 48re? 1st pulls long, 2nd is just a blip, 3rd pulls quite a ways and 4th does well but 2nd? Why is the trans set-up as such? I thought that the Diesel would have a shorter 1st and 2nd and then stretch it's leg's in 3rd & 4th?
.........it's been a while since I've had a Dodge Deisel. My last one was a 94' and it had a 5 speed GeTrag.

HEY GUYS.
727, 46/47/48 RH/RE ALL HAVE SAME GEAR RATIOS.
2.45:1 FIRST
1.45:1 SECOND
1:1 THIRD
.69:1 O/D
V/B IS DIFFERENT ON 48 THOUGH, DIFFERENT SPERATOR PLATES, TRANSFER
PLATE, PRESSURE REG VALVE AND REVERSE BOOST VALVE.
PCM PARAMETERS ARE DIFFERENT ALSO. NATURE OF THE BEAST.
