It came in the set. If I cant use it I can send it back in and trade it up for a differant guage. any ideas. I have the ISSPRO 100 psi boost, 30 psi fuel, Pyro, and trans temp. Also is it okay to plumb the egt gauge in to the TST probe as well.

I'd be more tempted to put a temp gauge in the rear diff rather than the tranny, especially if towing heavy.

Do both, and put a switch on it. The tranny gets hotter than you think. Put a bung on one of the PTO cover plates. No, the gauge and the TST need their own probe.

I'm in the same circumstance also, got the guages in a set. Would like to know the best place to install the sender on the 6 speed for anybody that might know.

I had a trans temp gauge put on my manual six speed. that tranny does get hot when towing. if not towing, its not worth having a guage on it. never seen it get hot enough to worry when not towing.

I had my gauges installed at a shop, I will look under mine to see where they mounted the probe and get back to you.

I am looking for a manual trans cooler. anyone know where to get one of those? I have seen the "fast coolers" they only seem to help a little. I can wind up my trans temp to 220f or 230f if not careful.
