Trans Fluid leak, But from Where??

I think that my truck is leaking a little bit a tranny fluid, but i am not really sure from where. The fluid is only present on the passenger side of the truck, the bolts the hold the pan are are covered in fluid, but the drivers side bolts that hold the pan up are not. THere is fluid on my exhaust downpipe. The tranny fluid tempature fitting is on the passengers side where all the fluid is present, but it does not seem to show any signs of leeking. I was under there and wiped everything down the best that i could. The spots where most of the fluid is found is on the exhaust downpipe and in the groves and along the front right side of the tranny pan. Any help or inputs would be great. This might explain why i had to add a quart a couple of weeks ago.

That is a possibility, it is hard to tell though because everything runs down, thus soaking everything below the point at where it is leaking. I would say that the leak is very minimal but there is enough that it does make a mess. Is there a good method to check the return line for a leak? Thanks for the help

I had a small leak at the cooler fitting. Was able to reach up there
(cold engine) with a short crescent and snug it. Was a little tricky
to trace, eventually just figured that's where it had to be.

Wipe everything down again and check underneath sooner! I had a leak where something was rubbing on a tranny hard line and wore a pinhole through it. Only leaked when hot.

Leaks can be hard to find but just takes persistance. Start with highest point where there is an ATF fluid coating...as it usually runs downhill.

If it's on the downpipe, I would guess that it's near the cooler. That's up there isn't it?
