How hard or how easy is it to replace the trans cooler line ?? The dealer wants $600 for parts and labor . If you have done this before please let me know how it went and any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Which line? There are 3 of them......one from trans to water to oil cooler, one from that to the air to oil cooler, and then one from the air to oil cooler back to the trans. None of them are too awfully difficult to change. I can't imagine 600 bucks.......thats ludicrous!

Heck bring it to my house and I'll do the work for $200.00 less. Just kidding I can't see a trans line costing more then $100.00 and less then an hour to change it out. As I see it should not cost no more then $200.00 at the dealership to have it changed even if they have a new kid doing the work.

Is it just the rubber portions of the cooler lines? That's what was leaking on mine and I think they wanted $600 dollars or something to change it. They connect to the metal lines with quick connect fittings so you need the tool for that which is like 3 or 4 bucks at any auto parts place. They hardest part of the whole project was getting the intercooler piping that goes to the intake out of the way. Easy project I think the hoses cost around $200 though.
