Tranny slow to engage when

So when I go to start my truck up in the morning and the truck is cold when I shift into gear it wont move just revs up like its slipping. After about 1 minute or so then it will move and I have no further problems. Any Ideas?

Once you start it up, shift to Neutral and let it warm up for 5-10 min. Trans doesn't recirculate fluid in Park. Been there, done that! After she warms up check the fluid level too.

Yep.. what he said!!..
The torque convertor is draining down over night. When you fire it up, if left in park, it wont fill itself.. These transmissions don't circulate fluid in Park. Just shift to neutral for about 20-30 seconds then into gear, it'll be ready for ya then..
