tranny shudder, and line pressure...
Ok, put a pressure gauge on the truck today. I put the gauge in the govennore pressure port and got about 6 psi idleing.... then according to alldata i used the line pressure port next. the reading in the line pressure port at idle in drive was 90 psi... than i went for a test drive and i was seeing pressures of 130 no fluctutaions between shifts or harder acceleration...
do these numbers sound right??? what about for a torque converter shudder, or what??? tranny is 1000mi. after HD rebuild with h/d converter, and the shop wont cover the warrantee....

I bet if you gave Dave a call at Goerand Bros. he could and would help you out not sure what pressures that you should have but I would like to do this same test and if needed I will replace the pump when I do my converter.

What prompted the tranny rebuild?
Is it a stock converter or an aftermarket? HD is the stock converter so that doesn't mean much. With your mods, you blow past the capability of a stock converter. If so, when the clutch locks it will probably shudder a lot.
