Tranny shift kits? anyone

I will more than likely in the future upgrade the TC and valve body but who has used some kind of shift kit to increase line pressure and firm up shifts? anyone even make one?
I just have too much money going into race car projects for 2000 convertor and valve body. I would however like to help the tranny out some.
I run my edge ez on setting 1 in fear of damaging the tranny.

thanks guys

Do a search on "Tim Holt", he has what you are looking for. He is somewhere in Texas, and I think he has a website.

I talked to Tim and he was a super nice guy. He gave me some good info on a shift kit and some valves to replace in the valve body. This is just to improve somethings and firm up the shifts. It is no Race valve body by any means. It sounds simple enough that I will probably leave the race car alone one weekend soon and pull the pan down on the 48re and take a look.

Thanks

ATS sells a VB kit, or you can have the VB installed. I'm going this route (they install)
within the next month. Going to get the Mag HyTech +5 qts deep dish trans pan also.
Should allow my 48RE to last longer

I will get the part numbers tomorrow. I left the paper at work. I am going to go this route for now. The great thing is according to Tim, if you use the shift kit and the three valves he recommends instead of drilling some passages called for in the kit. The valve body can be made stock again in no time. He said it will firm the shifts up some, pump fluid in park and a couple other things. Thats all I want, a little firmer and help with longevity.

Thats what I want, I am happy with how and when my trans shifts(am I the only one?) so i didn't really want to drill my Valve body.
