yes make sure you get 1/2 in lines, then use 2 worm clamps or 1 big one if you have them. I had custom hydrolic lines made up for me at work. They also had the nice 1/2" wide worm clamps and that fixed all my leaks :-)
Good Luck.
Degrease you engine after you fix the leaks, trans fluid isn't good to let sit on things. ouh!!!...and bring lots of quaters to wash the degreaser off, use soap function then pressured water. Mine came up real nice :-D

I've bent up several sets of trans lines over the years, and they're pretty easy to do, if you have the right tools. Just take your time and think through what you're doing.

mine is a non ic truck, and its the 3 spd 727 and uses 1/2" lines, as far as i know. i haven't gotten around to adding a temp gauge on the hot side but when i do i'll know for sure. I'll probably also add a cooler infront of the fuel tank and remove the one up front.
however i used to have a ramcharger which had a cooler and trans that went, that used 3/8 lines, i had the shop install the new trans and cooler for me. since then i refuse to let a shop do work that i can do myself.

might want to be careful on what type of hydraulic lines you use some are only rated to withstand up to 150 degrees. i ended up getting my lines from discounthydraulichose.com and going with R5 general purpose/truck hose. It had the one of the highest temp ratings and still was some what bendable.

My metal trans lines started leaking from them rubbing against one another. Took them off and into a machine shop and had them solder the holes back up for about $10. Might be a bit easier than tracking down or making all new lines.
