Hey guys,
I have an 07 5.9L 4x4 with the 48RE. I hav 21K miles on it and it is all stock except the muffler. If i am going under 1500 rpms in first then when it goes to shift from 1st to 2nd it will jump like it doesnt know what gear to pick. Wondering if this happens to alot of 48RE's or not. I think im going to swing by the dealership next week and have the idiots take a look at it.

Yes it does, its called shuttle shift. There is a TSB for changing the gov solenoid and sensor if you complain enough.

Maybe it will help, maybe it won't.

I've found that if you avoid that RPM range until you're in 3rd it won't do it.
