Train horn project
I have been working on my train horns and have gone alittle crazy with it. What do you all think. I decided to paint the end caps and the mounting bracket. I am fabricating my mounting plate and air tank brakets this weekend. I will post pictures when I am all done with it

ditch the electric solenoid valve, and get a manual valve, that way you can "talk" the horn, from a bit of a nudge to an all out hoot, that solenoid will only blast....... the horns are the easy part, now ya need to find a big enough tank, line, and the right compressor/s for the tank you decide on. too big a tank on the wrong compressor can be a fast death of the pump. horn looks good, nice and shiny thats for sure.

The electric solenoid valve has worked very good for me. I personally think it makes for a much easier and cleaner installation. But, I like the manual valves with train horns just because of the sound.
