Your truck has separate fuses for the trailers Tail/LT/RT look under the fuse box cover for the layout. Trailer wires can be any color the good ol days of universal wiring is gone..

If the fuses are good and the circuit is in use about the only things left are a faulty wire, bad control box (TIPM) I think, or a bad ground on the test light.

On the backside of the 7 pole plug is a plugin to the main harness, check your lights there. if your good there you can repair or replace it with one of these:
http://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-...893-11933.html
If you don't have the signal there then it's like rad says your IPM / FCM is fried (TIM did not show up till "06") if that is the case you will need to add one of these:
http://accessories.etrailer.com/search?w=modulite%20hd
As replacement on your relay box will be $750 or so..
These are handy for trouble shooting things:

Your welcome,
If your not familiar with the rear bumper 7 pole plug to main harness connection it has a red tab that must be pulled out prior to disconnecting it..

My left turn/break trail light went out on my '03 a couple of years ago, traced it to the TIPM. Installed a Modulite based on Colo River Ram's suggestion and all is good.

Robbie,
This kit will work:
http://www.etrailer.com/Wiring/Tow-Ready/119190.html
To the right of that page is a pdf of the installation instructions.
Under the instructions is a wiring kit if you do not have a roll of 12 ga and a fuse block you might want it too..
Keep in mind that the 4 way plug that comes with the kit will have to be spliced into the tow harness on the truck. When doing so you will need to terminate the existing wires from the trucks (Trailer-Tail/LT/RT) as you don't want to back feed the IPM / FCM.
