Trailer Brakes

Were do i wire up the trailer brakes on a 2002 dodge 2500 auto. I have done plenty of them before on newer ones but they all had the pigtail hanging there? Thanks Nathan

If you have the trailer package there is a 4 pin connector under the dash closer to the left side. It would've come with a pig tail in the glove box that plugs into the 4 pin connector.

The pig tails were supplied separately with a factory plug on one end. It mates to the plug in the factory harness, the other end wires to the brake controller. You might try e-trailer, they have about everything you need. If you want a local source, try U-haul.

On edit, look here.

Most places sell the harness that goes between the brake controller and the plug in the vehicle, makes it quick and easy, I installed my P3 in a matter of minutes and the harness was 9 extra dollars.

I bought mine at the dealer and it was not bad. Been almost three years or more but I know it was not "HOLY COW YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME" expensive.
