this is where I put mine. I hate the controller though, will be trying out a Tru-control this year once we get back into towing weather. I have a picture uploaded here already that shows my placement, dont know how to get it show here. Anyway I put mine to the left of the column on the lower piece that is removeable to access under the dash. there really is not much choice.

Mine is to the left of the wheel under the dash. Out of the way and still very easy to grab in an emergency.

OK guys, I need some more ideas!! I put it next to the center console hi up on the knee bolster and I hate it!! It is so verticle I can't see it at all! It is kinda close to my leg andmy brother cant drive my truck now(he is 6'3")
Any other placement ideas I would be more than willing to try.

Chris, I currently have mine to the right of the steering column. Constantly bumping my shin on the darn thing. Have the seat and pedals back as far as my arms will allow and still hit it...
Think I'm going to mount it on the A pillar shroud that holds my Quad Commander. Should be able to fit a small piece of flat bar inside to screw the P3 bracket to. It would be easier to view, out of the way and way easy to hit the manual if needed. I'll probably trial fit it in a couple of days and can post pics if anyone's interested.

BAMBAM,
I looked very hard at that spot you mentioned. I bet I put the controller in there a dozen times and could not decide on how to make it tight enough to stay. After I beat my head on the A pillar repetedly I noticed something. It fit right under the steering wheel!!
I ended up putting it just under the hump where the knee bolster flattens out and it looks pretty good!! I don't seem to bang my knee on it at all and now my keys dont get caught either.
I will try and post a pic when it gets light out
Thanks for the ideas
Chris

I have mine mounted on the side of the 4x4 shifter housing. It is low down there, but is a lot easier to reach that most locations I've seen. I don't want to have my face 4 inches from the airbag if I'm in a panic stop and plow something in front of me.
