Trailer blinker (wiring)
So I hooked up my trailer and I have lights all the way around except for the right blinker on the trailer (on the truck it works). I hooked up a different trailer and the exact same problem - so clearly it's the truck.
Put the test light on the truck trailer receiver and no right blinker. Checked the fuses, and no blown fuses. Went back to the truck turned it on and now the dang check engine light is on. Checked the fuse box again to make sure they were all in tight. Checked the truck - check engine still on. I have the edge chip and it didn't really show much for codes, but I chose to reset everything and the check engine light went away and the blinker started working.
What the ????

In 06 the power module will stop power to the trailer lights after it exceeds 15 amps. It will try a few times, then set a code and disable the circuit that was over limit.
The module then has to be reset, which can only be done 5 times I think, then it's $$$ junk.
There was a TSB that involved resetting it's programming, I think to 17.5 amps, and to not set the error code (so you don't end up replacing the power distribution computer).

There are fuses for each directional in the engine compartment fuse box. I had a similar problem, it was a blown 15a left turn fuse.
