anyone of you MD folk that live more in the country regions know of a farm auction or place where i can get some suitcase/hang on weights.
i've looked and cant find anywhere to go get them within a reasonable drive.

You are looking for 1000#, you want 100# or 75# or 50# or 25#? I will make a few calls and see what I can come up with, I have family that goes to auctions every week it seems like and if I know for sure what your price is, what brand you want (IH are the easiest to handle), and what size I bet by the first pull I will have what you are looking for, if not before I go home in January.

50-75-100 doesnt matter, brand doesnt really matter as long as they are all the same and mount the same way.
i know for a fact i cant spend over $500 on them right now, so that is my limit at this point.

IH seems to be the most popular and the 95lb weights typically go for at most $50 or $55 depending on where the bid started.

Different brands do mount differently, IH are the easiest to fab up a bracket for them also. JD need a round bar over the top of the steel to seat properly, IH just needs the steel and if it still has teets on it a hole cut. I will see what I can come up with, we might have a few laying around that could be sold also.

I have to go through Ohio when I go home for Gordyville for the Winter Nationals, If you and TJ work something out we could meet and I could pick them up for him, of course if that is ok with you and him. It would only add about 20 miles to my trip, nothing I can't handle.
