Tps ?
My dad's 93 CTD is ocassionally kicking back and forth between drive and OD.
Could it be the TPS or would it possibly be the trans temp sensor?
I had this problem with the 95 and turned out to be the TPS.

Try adjusting the TPS, after Wanna tweaked mine it doesn't "search" anymore, and with the way it is adjusted right now at WOT it'll hold to 57mph before OD, but driving normal
it will shift into OD at 38mph
