TOYO MT's online
I've been looking into 295/70/17's for a while. Today I think I found the best deal at Treadepot with cheap shipping too. Anyone have experience buying tires online or from this company?

that looks like a good price to me and that shipping is really cheap
Les Schwabs ad came out today and they want 309 ea plus tax and what ever else so I guess it would be worth it even with out the road hazzard if you mess one up it is still cheaper.

spoke to a buddy of mine who works at an off road shop because i'm thinking of buying the same tires in the same size and he said to be careful because...1. he could not buy those tires at that price for himself and...2. if those tires are not in stock toyo has been taking up to several months on filling some back orders and some online stores have been taking orders for tires that they know could take months to get and then talking the customer into buying a different tire.

$309 is too high for 295's on 17's
Heck I got my 35's on 18's for $280.
Definetly go through Les Schwab, they are the biggest retailer for Toyo and they get them first.
It sounds like your local dealer is over priced and doenst have much knowledge on your tires. Try another Schwab retailer like in another town.
I got my 35's way back when nobody could get them and had to wait months. I took my dealer 10 days to get mine and it was $40 cheaper the 4 wheel parts.
There's ways to get what you want from a tire dealership.
Be persistant and good luck
FYI- I didnt get the extra warrantee because they pro-rate tires, meaning that if you have less then 60% then they give you $10 off your replacement
They can be really stubborn about warranty's. Americas tire offers free replacement while most others take your money and give you 10 bucks off.

4 wheel parts will do the m/t's in 295's for $290 a piece. they may not like it but they will do it (plus you can avoid shipping charges by having them sent to one of their stores and picking them up).
