Towing with smarty tnt
Just curious what everyone tows with? I usually leave mine on level 6, timing 2, rp 2 and torque 4 when towing my toy hauler. But it seems like it would be ok to tow a light trailer with some quads on it on level 8 or 9. What do you all think? What kind of power can this tranny take? Level 7 doesnt seem to have that much low end. 6 does better on my truck for some reason.

Running Smarty TNT on an 03 305/555 with stock sticks, stock CP3.
TNT settings are on program level 3, timing 1, pressure 1, stock TQ managment
it running cleaner than revo ever did and i have no problems with fuel pressure or rail pressure at my current levels.
with my 62/12 i rarely see egt's over 1300. On my last really heavy load 29k lbs gross i dropped timing down one step because i knew i would be pulling the back side of donner summit up out of reno into ca and that is a long enough steady climb with little to no relief for those poor pistons if i were running it at WOT, on the flats i was running 1200 degrees and heavy throttle to maintain 55 due to the head wind so i figured the grade wouldnt be very forgiving.
but otherwise i run the full timing with smarty when towing and i tend to watch EGT's for long grades i like to back out of it a hair and keep it between 1200 and 1250 but thats with 16k lbs in tow she goes up a 7%+ grade at 60 mph so i dont forsee wanting anything more than that. about the only time it really gets over 1250 is at WOT and with the advanced timing i like to error on the side of a little caution
