towing lift kit
I have a 31' gooseneck camper.I was looking to put a 6" lift on my truck and 22.5" wheels. My questions is am I going to have towing problems with the lift with the angle on the trailer and truck. I think the hitch will adjust some but just wanted to see if anyone elese has tried this combo. Oh by the way the truck has a flatbed with a gooseneck trough in it ant the camper has a 3" lift on it also.
Thanks Trey

I would recommend putting on some sort of traction - ladder bar to stop axle rap.If you use blocks you are creating a large leverage arm arched srings will still twist .That thick overload spring that comes in to contact when truck is loaded stops that from happening.Same goes with putting air bags on you are taking the load off the spring with the bags so it is able to twist untill it gets stiff. Had a friend that was having this problem with a Ford with a 4inch lift with air bags .Hauled Quads on a rack in the truck and a tag toy hauler with a buggy.Used air bags to keep it level and had a nasty vibration when taking off from a stop due to pinion twisting up and throwing off drive line angle.

Ladder bars would be a good idea regarding axle wrap, too much strain on the suspension/lift kit.
When I put on my 35" tires, it became rather obvious that I was a little too close to the bed rails for comfort with both my 5th wheel that I converted to a GN and also my GN horse trailer with LQ's.
I added an 8" 'I' beam frame to my trailers and moved the suspension to the new frame. I wanted to be able to run my trailers level, having them on an angle will put undue stress on one axle/tires and can be a major costly problem. Outside the minor costs of the steel I beam and new brackets for the spring move, overall it was the best mods I have done to my trailers. I also had to buy a 3-step for my 5th wheel, but otherwise it was all good.
When you start lifting, everything should be lifted when you are done OR time for a changeover to bumper pull trailers and a long drop hitch.
