Question Towing with 20's

talking about a SRW truck towing a 16k toyhauler. I have read on the forum that the biggest downfall is the sway in the rear due to the flex in the sidewall on a SRW truck vs a DRW. If you run 35" tires with 20's or even 22"s to minumize the amout of sidewall would that limit the amout of sway that everyone talks about or is the only "comfortable" option the DRW?

the truck has a G56 with 373's, just thinking about the build or if I need to change anything?

My trailer is not as heavy as yours, only about 9k, but I don't really notice any sway. I have 285's which are about 33in tall. I would imagine those larger wheels would reduce it though if it was noticeable. I think you will lose some ride quality though, if you're concerned about it.

My brother pulls a 40' Weekend Warior 5th wheel behind his F-350 SRW 4x4 with 20's and 35" Toyo Open Country M/Ts. Feel real good going down the road. I wouldn't go any bigger than a 20" wheel, though.

thanks for the repy's, I will not tow it enough to justify rickson's 19.5" or anything buy I like the 35's and I want to feel secure while pulling it once a month or so in the summer with my family.
