Torx bit size front drive shaft

Torx bit size front drive shaft

Does anybody know what size torx bit is needed for the front drive shaft. I need to remove it so I can find that dang grease hole.

ANYBODY ? My #30 torx bit is to small and # 40 torx bit is to big

Not sure of the size, but make sure you heat the bolt/flange area up enough to help the loctite let go. If you warm it up good, the bolts remove easily, if not, you are going to twist the sockets out of the bolt. I replaced mine with hex heads. Good luck.

I thought it was a #45, but I'm not sure. I replaced mine with hex nuts also, I hate torx.

You need a long reach T40.

x2. It is a 40. Maybe your 40 wasnt make correctly or something like that.

... and the 40 isn't tight.
