Torque specs

Anyone know the torque spec for the tranny mount on a w250 automatic? I just replaced mine, toured it to 50 ft lbs and the truck shakes like crazy.

that's enough torque for those bolts. you may have other problems. Do you have a two piece driveshaft?

It's a one piece driveshaft that was just balanced. The truck shakes in park at idle, is worse in gear and gets better with rpm. It started when I replaced the tranny mount.

Did you use Rubber or poly mounts? I put poly in my 90 W250 and it vibrated like crazy...

What RPM does it smooth out? Did you have trans out recently? We are talking about 5.9 CTD here right? What year? Is it 4X4?

Make sure the mount is the same height. Maybe it 's different causing something like the exhaust to touch the frame.

I checked everything underneath, seems fine. It started right after I changed the mount. I noticed the difference as soon as I started the truck on the hoist. The mount was originally tightened with an impact , I loosened it off to 50 ft lbs and it got better. 50 ft lbs is the torque spec for manual trucks, I'm justvwondering if the automatics are different?
