Tires

Hey all,
It's time for my truck to get new tires. I'm looking for a tire that performs well in snow, somewhat quiet on the road, and has a somewhat decent life, and looks aggressive.Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I just put on a set of BFG AT KO 315/70/17 and love them. Had the BFG AT KO 285's before that. Nice balance of look, mileage and wear performance and price.

Toyo AT might be another good option.

by far the best all around tire I have ever run is the Toyo Open Country A/T!! Life expectancy is around 50K on the E rated tires. They handle great on snow but can pack up with mud if it is sticky.
I took my 2 day old truck down and had a set in 285/70.17's put on because I trust these tires so well!!

So far so good with the one's in my sig. The only drawback is they're D rated, not E.

285/70/17 BFG AT KOs- 46,000 miles and no problems. I expect at least 55,000 miles.

i really like my toyo mt's 37"'s. Pretty quiet tire for a really aggressive looking tire. I have about 9000 miles on them and they look new. It has been snowing pretty good up here and in 4 wheel drive they grab pretty good.

I really like my BFG M/T's. They are not noisy on the road, have great snow traction, and have a long life. I have over 35k on my current set and they could probably go until next winter before I have to replace them.

Procomp All Terrains. I switched out the stock tires that came on my truck but went with wider wheels and bigger tires. But, Procomp makes all sizes.

The BFG A/T will be my next tire.

For now though my truck came with brand new Yokohama Geolander AT/S tires. They are awesome in the snow packed roads. I usually hate Jap tires. These do work well though. Wearing fairly nice too. I have about 10,000 miles on them since I got the truck in Aug and I'm happy so far.

Good price on tires

I just replaced tires on my 05' Ram, using the stock size. I picked Firestone Destinations M/T 265/70-17 great looking tire, meaty, aggressive a nice tire for the money. I shopped around at local tire shops they wanted anywhere from 1000-1150 bucks for 4 tires, they are nuts. So I want on-line and picked them up for 156.00 each, got 4 tires for 670 with shipping. From a tire wholesaler from Fla. there web is WWW.ROADWAYWHOLESALETIRE.COM I went to other webs sites the prices were higher from 180-200 each plus shipping, roadway had the best price.
