Tires?

I've posted this thread in the other forums a couple of times but can't seem to get an honest answer. What are the biggest and widest tires that will fit on an '02 3500 with a 2'' level kit without them rubbing or causing problems? By the way I tow 16,000 lbs. on ocassion.

i dont think you can fit 35's even with a leveling kit unless its 4wd so anything less will work

No, its 2wd. I am just wondering what I can fit under there without spacers in the rear and still tow a fairly macho load with no problems.

I've seen 255/85s done.

I'd stick with stock size on a dually, as the headaches just get bigger when trying to jockey alternative tire sizes.

Ditto. Stick with stock. Better mleage, fewer problems. Besides these tires are not small.
