Tires

I am going to need some new tires and thought I would ask what you like . I have Cooper Discovere Mud & snow LT 265 75 R16. the truck is used on the road no off roading but would like to have some tread for when it snows. Mostly tow the race car under 100 mile trips.
Thanks Bud

Cooper are good

I just replaced my original Mich's with Cooper Discoverer ST 265/70/16 and they handle awesome so far, hardly any slippage on wet or slightly slushy roads. I wanted NITTO but way too expensive, nice treads but way to much money I think.

The Nittos are worth every dollar. I bought some 305/55/20 Nittos, full set for 760 bucks shipped on e-bay. Discounttiredirect auctions. They advertised them used with 15/32 tread remaining but still had a little bit of the **** left on the tread....so they didn't have many miles at all. I have seen several sizes from them on there in the last several months so you might look. Also the Toyo's I just put on ride really well and are great in the rain. Just put them on so I haven't been able to test them in snow yet. Have to wait until next year if I still have them on.

i put procomp X-treme a/t's onmy truck and i have a couple thousand miles on them and can't complain at all even in the rain and snow they handle pretty well. they are D rated but i have ran them with over 3000 lbs in the bed already and no problems. i know a couple of guys that have had them on thier trucks longer than i have and they have had no problems
