I had regular hawgs on my superduty,if you keep air pressures right they wear fairly well.traction is great, ride is good, just remember they are a very heavy tire.I was very satisfied with them

Theres alot of guys running the bias Ground hawg on diesels, Thats what i'm going to next, i run the TSL Raidal now, I love them, got 42k on them, I would get them again but they don't make a 40in. all i know about the Ground hawg radial is that they run small, my buddy got 38x15.50x16.5 on his old chev, they look like a 37x10.50
My brother had them on his Chebby, and going forward they were great. Problem is when you get stuck, they are worthless going the other way. Keep that in mind when you are out wheeling. He switched to Swampers and has not been stuck since, except for broken axles or u-joints.
I use to run ground hawgs on my 4x4 toy. They were the 38.5 bias ply variety.
Traction was never an issue, forward or reverse. Tread life was excellent for an offroad tire. I also got better mpg out of them over the swampers.
I switched to swampers because I got a killer deal on a set of 4 off a wrecked truck.
My complaint with them was the solid zig-zag rib of rubber around the center of the tire. It would allow it to very easily lock up in wet/icy weather, but it was also why I got better mpg out of them.
