Tire size
I know this has been covered here before but I have spent a couple days with the search function and cant seemed to find what I am looking for. I have a 2005 2500 CTD, I want to know what the largest size tires I can fit on it are. This is a daily driving and I only tow a boat a couple times a month nothing super heavy. I have always liked the BFG AT and MT for my daily vehicle so that is mostly likely what I will go with.
(btw I hate these 17inch rims. I wish you could drop down to a 16)

315/75/17 or 34.5"(BFG AT for example). Some who have run tires with >34.5" measured diameter have had to use the 2" leveling kit up front (otherwise minor rub at full turn).
