Tire size question

I have seen 37 with no lift and I found 40's with 3" kore so should I clear 40's with 5"?

You probably ging to have to do some cutting with only a 5in. And depeding on the width and backspacing of your wheels, your going to have some rubbing on the control arms.

Won't fit without rubbing on the inside back wall. I wouldn't do a 5". Your not going to like it unless it's just a street wheeler but even then.

Those 40s are on stock Power Wagon rims , so I`m SURE they rub the control arms when turning , and they used some Bush Wacker cut-out flares designed for a Ford Superduty...look closely at how they fit (or DON`T FIT) the body lines and go over the headlights. I`m sure the hacked the fenders all to snot under those flares , as there`s not much metal at the rear of the front fenders to begin with , which is why they don`t make them for the Dodge 3rd gens.

You`ll need at least 9 in. of lift to clear 40s even on a street truck without major fender cutting...or glass pre-runner style fenders.
