I'm going to buy some winter rims and mount snow tires on them for the snow we get up here near Buffalo, but i'm not going to switch the valve stems, is there a way to disable the tire pressure monitor so I don't have to look at the warning light all winter long ?

I did the same thing on my wife's Volvo that you want to do with your Dodge. I know a Volvo is not a Dodge,but I went ahead and bought the TPMS valve stems for the winter rims and them installed and balanced. Everything worked great. It only cost about 80 bucks for the sensors and that was for Volvo genuine parts. Do a search for TPMS sensors and there are aftermarket companies that make them. It is a pretty easy deal. Also, if you do the switch, your TPMS is still working.

you can not shut the system off due to being a law to have them in vehicles under a certain GVW. thank ford and firestone for that one
