You get all the proper tools then go to piers diesel for the timing chart. The setting depends on what setup you have. I just did mine today. The timing case has a plate on it with all of the numbers you need to get the proper reading. The tools are a dial indicator, socket to pull the delivery valve, dial indicator holder, barring tool, puller to pull the pump gear, and a good torque wrench that goes to atleast 150ftlbs. The directions are on www.dodgeram.org. That should get your rig timed.

Thanks for the info. But I dont know that much about the p7100 pump. Most of stuff I've done has been with 24v's. So what I'm looking for is step by step instructions. I looked on dodgeram.org but all I could find was the timing chart same with some other sites I looked on. So if anyone has this or can tell me where to find this please reply.
