How do you and what is best way to advance the timing

You get all the proper tools then go to piers diesel for the timing chart. The setting depends on what setup you have. I just did mine today. The timing case has a plate on it with all of the numbers you need to get the proper reading. The tools are a dial indicator, socket to pull the delivery valve, dial indicator holder, barring tool, puller to pull the pump gear, and a good torque wrench that goes to atleast 150ftlbs. Thanks for the info. But I dont know that much about the p7100 pump. Most of stuff I've done has been with 24v's. So what I'm looking for is step by step instructions. I looked on dodgeram.org but all I could find was the timing chart same with some other sites I looked on. So if anyone has this or can tell me where to find this please reply.
