Only one brand IMHO for these trucks. Bilstein HDs. Around $300-$400 for all four, but well worth it. I had Rancho 9000s on it before, and its a night and day difference.

I run Monroe Reflex shocks on all of my trucks, pretty happy with them.

I have the bilstein HDs on mine, they're pretty good. I got mine from shockwarehouse.com as well. But I've been hearing great reviews on the bilstein 5100's. That's gonna be my next set.

I thought the 5100s have the same valving as the HDs. Only difference is they are 2" longer for front lifts.

Has anybody tried the Monromatics? 100 bucks for all 4 shocks sounds intriguing.

I went Bil 5100 on both trucks. Huge difference. The 99 had atleast 100K when I changed them and there was a huge difference on the road. The97 had Monroes that where "About a year old" according to the P.O. It was amazing how much better it was off road. Wash board was 200% better.
