This REALLY chaps me, only the Aussies get the good stuff. Unless I messed up, they claim 42.9 US MPG in mixed Urban/Rural driving ( 5.6L/100KM )

I was visiting there in 1979. The biggest pickup was a F-100. They get the big stuff now. The most unique vehicle was a Falcon Ranchero w/240 ci six and 4wd,manual tranny of course.

We drove a Chevy Ute(El Camino) and towed a caravan(trailer) all over the east coast. It had the two-speed Powerglide and a 307 V8. Chevy shipped the last of them down under. They called them Yankee Boxes. Beautiful place. Bring your wallet and sunscreen.
