tilt front end sheet metal.
i am considering a tilt front end on the 78 crew cab i want to build next fall. has anyone seen one or done one. i worked on alot of trucks with tilt front ends and it is sure alot easier than hanging over the front on my gut or hanging by my knees and one hand. i know the photo is of a ford but it was the closes thing i happened across to show an example. i know the radiator and intercooler would need to stand alone with bracing back to the firewall and all the stuff on the inner fenders would need to find a home on the firewall . going to have to paint it and don't want to turn it into a rattle trap.

I have a new item on the wishlist. That would be seriosuly awesome. I will marry the daughter of whoever makes those just so I could get one.

Catalog looks nice but the approval rate is not good from some customers here on the forum. So buyer beware!

some cool stuff but i was going to weld the sheet metal. fiberglass that is strong enough for day to day is not going to gain me any advantage for me thats a big chunk of my budget. i have repaired my share of busted fiberglass. and built a glass 23t bucket . i supposed if one fell into my lap i would use it. i was thinking sheet metal. thanks for the web site gives me some thing to consider.

Not a huge fan of tilt front ends, but I can sure see greatwhite with one of those R/T hoods.
