Tie Rod Ends on an '03 Caravan
Has anybody got any experience with the tie rod ends on an '03 caravan? Wife's van has had a "rattle" in the front end for quite a while. I rotated the tires and found out the tie rod ends are sloppy. This van only has 16,799 miles on it. She needs to take it in for a power steering hose recall, so I was thinking of having the techs look over the front end to see what they find. I don't want to say anything so I can see what they are like (first time dealing with them). Will I be told "wear item-not covered by warranty"? I don't think that there should be any noticible wear with less than 17k miles on.

Wear items are usually only belts, tires, brakes and the like. I would ASSUME that suspension components would be covered. That seems very odd for such low mileage. Maybe there is an updated part.
