if i were to sell my superlift kit...would i lose a good amount of money?
judging by what ptgarcia has said i think i would switch to the thuren 2.5" set up.
which would mean i would have to sell my 37s and get 35s
what am i looking at as far as costs?
just curious for the future...
i want a smooth ride that stays smooth on the dirt
thanks in advance

Im not sure what you paid for ur lift kit and tires and wheels.
But I sold my 6inch superlift and 35 inch tires and 17 inch rims for 2g's candian so I took a hit.
Nick.

You CAN run 37's with the right offset wheel and minor fender trimming with most 2-3" lifts. I beleive the biggest problem is rubbing on the a-arms right. Thats where my 35's at stock weight rub. I run the factory wheels and it only hits at full lock in one direction(???).

You can keep the 37s! Just run them on the stock rims and live with the little bit of rubbing you'll get on the control arms and make sure you get Don's 3" springs.

pull the shocks and see how it rides, sometimes aftermarket shocks cause a harsher ride, of course you have to run shocks but if it makes a world of difference then u know its shocks your after, not a complete lift kit. I have a set of bilstein coil over shocks on the front of my toyota tacoma and they make it ride like

Keep the 37's just use the stock wheels or H2's. www.thurenfabrication.com has some prices on there. For a good solid kit, aroudn $4500

Before you go spending the money and making all these changes or losing money selling stuff, you should go take a ride in one of these trucks with Thuren's stuff under it. Make sure its what you want. It would suck to sell your Superlift and not feel much of a difference in the new kit. Some people would notice a night and day difference, some would not. Some of us are just a little more picky than others.
If I had your truck and wanted a smoother ride, I would call thuren and ask him to get me a soft riding 6" coil to replace the superlift ones.
Then I would call Deaver and ask them to build me the smoothest riding leaf springs they can for the rear with a little more lift over stock.

I think Deaver only makes springs for KORE. I know they don't make Thuren's springs, and I don't think they make Carli's , either, but I could be wrong about that.
But you're right. If you try to have Deaver make you a set they're probably going to tell you to call KORE.

You CAN call them and have them produce the springs, you just might have to pay for them somewhere else. I've called them DIRECT several times about spring questions before wasting time on calling Kore.

If you like the height you at and just want to improve performance, id just call Don and ask him to get you a set of soft 6" coils and shocks to match. No need to ditch everything you have.
