thuren trac bar?

just installed my carli 3" lift. looks and sits real nice.It does look like the front axle is sticking out a little to the left of the truck.what point on the truck should I take measurements to see if the axle is off center or if its my imagination? once I install a adjustable trac bar is it gonna set my toe out again and need another alignment? Has anyone tried solidsteel bars or is Thuren, carli,or kore the way to go.

at what lift size would you see benefits from a thuren track bar?How easy is it to set up properly and is there a recommened camber/castor angle to give to the local alignment shop for best ride or will they just follow factory specs
Thanks

Installing it is no problem ,just not sure where to measure from to get it perfectly lined up or does the alignment shop need to do it.

with 2" inches of lift you we need to extend the trac bar about 1/4 inch longer. so, with three inches of lift i would start around 3/8 of an inch longer and then take measurements of your axle on each side of the truck.

i'm sure your lift kit came with a relocation bracket that re-centered your axle, but don's adjustable track bar is a much better piece than stock, and has much better bushings. it's not a necessity, but especially with the lift and tires, it could only help.

thuren trac bar?

No relocation bracket neccessary,it was only springs and shocks.Icalled carli ont the trac bar he said 39 and 1/4" should do it eye to eye.BTW,I put the 2 extra leaf spacers back in the truck, front measures 42" up front and 43"in the rear from the ground to the fender.looks real sweet.

The trackbar needs to "grow" ~.030" longer bolt C-C for each 1" of lift to keep the front axle centered under the frame... if you don't want to buy an entire bar, we offer offset trackbar bushings for lifted trucks.
