Throttle feeling irratic

Two weeks ago I had a dead pedal after a long drive. I was able to trouble shoot it with the info on this site. I reset it. That was resolved. Now, is it my imagination or is there a real issue. When I'm on flat highway, it seems the trucks either surges faster or slows down. As if I'm driving over large pot holes. Not by much but it doesn't seem to be in sync. with my foot pedal. To assure myself that it is working, I merely push down and accelerate. At that point, its seems responsive.

Truck still runs normally otherwise.

May be a lose electrical connection or a sensor going bad .
Have you checked for codes ?
