Throttel cuts out!!!!!!!
I have been hauling loads all day with no problem, then all of a sudden as I am getting on to the freeway the throttel starts to cut out at different intervals and for different amouts of time. It lasted for about 5 min. It didn't seem to be stalling just acted as if I let off of the throttle. Almost as if it were running out of diesel but I have 3/4 of a tank. I replaced the tps about 2 years ago but this is acting different then that. It ran fine for a ways and then it did it to me at the same spot coming back with an other load. It's still running, and as I type this, I'm beginning to think it's the fuel filter but I would like a second opinon, thanks for helping!!!!

It could be a lift pump problem.
What is your pressure?
Dirty fuel/clogged filter is a possibility.
A pressure gauge would show that.
My Edge Comp was failing and giving me a VERY bad running engine.
Dying at highway speeds, dead miss.
Try disconnecting the Comp totally.
That fixed mine.
My Edge Comp is now in the bottom of the toolbox.... where it will stay.

I replaced the fuel filter, it helped but still cuts out, it feels like a lift pump now, my sending unit on my fuel pressure gauge happens to be out at the moment so fuel pressure could be bad, putting a new lift pump on in the morning, I will let y'all know if that works

i would check for codes and be weary of the tps again i replaced 2 of them on my 01 in 2 years and 20k miles both gave different symptoms of failure while driving and wouldn't through a check engine light for awhile when the second one went bad after 2 weeks of driving with the issue it finally put on cel it was tps again
