Those with Air Intakes
For those of you with moded stock air boxes or aftermarkert air intakes, have any replaced the intake manifold? I am about to put an Donaldson shorty on mode my factory airbox (for now) and was looking at the ATS intake manifold. Quetion is, will i notice an improvement?

from what I have heard, the intake manifolds, ats, banks, etc dont yeild much improvement. Not one you can feel anyway. Maybe on a 700+ horse truck but I dont know. Most run em for the looks.

if your dead set, look on ebay. i was looking at the banks high ram cause it looks cool and they have for about 300. not to bad, but dont know if its worth it considering the minimal performance gains. the ATS does come threaded for water/meth i think so thats good

I have a Volant did not notice any real inprovements because I put on the Quad Stand. and MBRP 4" exhaust all at once. The the turbo wine from the intake is AWESOME, sounds like a jet taking off.
