Third Gen Hood stack Questions

Afternoon, DTR...

I'm thinking about doing a hood stack when I come back from Japan in July, and I have seen a second gen with one, but their turbos are a lot higher...

I was wondering if I could get some pics of one, I already know I'll need to move my heater core line... I'm just trying to see how they are plumbed. I am wondering how I'm going to attach the piping to the turbo...

TIA!

Mad

PS... here's my inspiration....

You can run a 2nd gen manifold and it will be easier to do it

Don't think so. Some place won't let you hang things form the rear view mirror, because it blocks line of sight.

pretty sure most states have a "exhaust must exit behind cab" law...

I like hood stacks on pullin trucks..but I can only think a hood stack would suck for a DD truck..everytime you warmed your truck up with the defrost it would suck that stinky COLD diesel smell right into your cab!
and it may even do it with no heat or defrost on??
either way every time the defrost is on the truck would uck fresh/sooty air from up front.

take some pics if you do it!!
black hood stack would be SWEET looking!

I know my buddy catches crap all the time from the copers here in Montana. They say it takes away from his line of sight or something like that. He is getting ready to take it out because he is tired of getting pulled over.
