Thinking wheels/tires for my B-DAY need help

Ok I want a black wheel so I think I am set on KMC Rockstars but ? is 18" or 20"

Tire size is set at 33"X12.5XR--- 18 or 20

Will that fit on a stock truck with no rubbing?????? I am not sure of the backspacing of the rim and I know that is key. That being said with proper backspacing can a 33"X12.5 tire fit on a stock truck with no rubbing????

Then the tire itself, oh boy

They come with Toyo Open Country MT or
Nitto Mud ( look a little too aggressive ) or
I can pick a tire say Kumho road venture MT KL71 E rated (again by the looks a little too aggressive for Daily driving)

I love the look of the Toyo's but I am concerned with wear. This is my daily driver this is not an off road truck so I will be honest and say this is a looks deal for a mall crawler, not for an off road machine.

I know nothing about the subject so any help is good help and any ideas you have would be great. Thanks, Rye.

I have Dunlops on the truck now and love them , I just checked their site and they offer the Rover M/T. May have found the tire but still do not know if they will fit?

I put 35" BFG MTs on my truck when I first got it and they robbed me of almost two mpg. I would not even consider those unless you go off-road a lot. Dura Grapplers are pretty popular these days but they are more of an on-road tire.....

the HITTO may look to aggressive ... but rides on the road like a dream... it is cut for off road . but look at it real close and you will see it is made to to ride the HWY just fine
I have a set and can drive almost anywhere .. but when on the road it make little to no noise over a stock tire .. now I have a diesel and sure it has a lot of noise canceling insulation .. I have a 4" exhaust system and have removed the stock muffler and the resonator that is a give me .. and only replace the muffler with a flow threw non restrictive one ... so with the door open you hear the exhaust and the turbo very loud .. but it is much louder driving down the road and the tires do not make a noise and run smoother than my stock tires did ... and are a much better rolling tire .... so it gets better wear and can not say for sure about the mileage over stock .. but IMO I would guess it may get better .. I never saw a decrease in mileage from using them
So I would suggest to use a Nitto Tire ... and they do make other versions of the tire if you still think it is to aggressive

I think I would look at trail grapplers as well, wanted to put them on my 2wd but couldn't get the right size without rubbing, so i had to do the terras again. Do they make an toyo m-55 for that size anyone, the ones i seen were g- rated for pickups.

Change 1 change 2. I like the warranty on the pro comps, but I noticed a few Fords at work with 20"s and Wrangler AT/s tires. Did some reasearch and found great reviews even on heavy diesel trucks, and insane tread life claims. Only problem is on a 20" they only come in a 275/65R20 which is about 34.1", I was looking more for 33"s, because I must keep it at stock ride height with my warranty. So I guess I have to e-mail the seller and find the exact backspacing and offset to see if it is possible.

i bought some nitto dura grapplers (33x12.5x20) and put them on a rim with a -25 mm backspace, and theres no way to clear them without a leveling kit. as long as you have a less negative backspace, they should fit no problem. by the way, i think the dura grapplers look quite nice for being a highway tire. just my 2 cents.

Well I had 37"s on 22.5" wheels on a stock height truck for a while. Its all about backspacing/offset and overall wheel width. So I sent the guys an e-mail trying to find out the backspacing/offset then hopefully someone can steer me to a wheel height and width that will fit.

I have 33" nitto terra grapplers on 20x8.5 wheels with -25 offset stock no rubbing. I should end up getting about 50k out of the tires mix of towing just make sure you get 10ply or load range e or tires will wear quick

Any idea what the backspacing is? Nice set up by the way.
