Thinking of trading?

I have an 06 2500 quad SB auto slt and thinking of upping to a mega? I test drove a 3500 mega slt with a 6spd and it was very noticable in the rpm differance at 60mph (both had the same 3.73). No autos in 3500 but lots of autos in 2500? I think I could up to the mega for about 6000? I know a few of you have put something on the manual trans to lower the rpms or more gears? what is it and how much does it cost? Go for the 3500 or just but air bags on the 2500?

Thanks

I wish I had the Mega, but I couldn't shell out the extra 8K they wanted for an '06 Mega at the time. I also wanted the LB, but I ended up w/ a shorty there too. Oh well.

if you want a 1 ton then airbag yours that you have now for $300.00 bucks

if you want extra room then get the Gurthacab

if your just looking for more towing capacity then $300.00 sounds WAY better then $6,000 IMHO

It is called a gear splitter. I am looking at one right now for my 07 3500 with the hand shaker. Gear vendors or us gear makes one. Gear vendors has a .78 overdrive.
