Hi Guys

I'm starting to do all the little maintance things my new to me dodge needs ... kdp , u-joints , all fluids ... needs a front end alinement , and I may just do the ball joints ...after all 150,000 on the truck .

My question is about the exhaust , right now theres a flowmaster on the truck ...I can tell its an older model ... they did not come out with one for the diesels until last year or so , the truck also has the cat ... all that has to go.
I was thinking a new down pipe , all 4" I'm not sure about the muffler , I don't want it too loud ...I had my 01 powerstroke open exhaust ... it was like looking at fat lady at the beach ... It should not have been done ... they sound like crap ..
The guy down the road has a dodge thats not stock exhaust ... sounds pretty good ... nice and strong sounding.

I am looking to do a new 4" down pipe , muffler ...? , I do like loud , but I am getting a little older for that stuff ..I'm 35 ...LOL , I would like to do a single stack with a flaping rain cap .... them things are just so cool ...LOL

I have order from a site called airflo ... they seem to have a lot of exhaust stuff for the diesels , but they don't have a down pipe .
Can anyone else recomend another good place for exhaust parts ... is stainless a big issue with diesels , I have a walker big truck muffler on my ford ... it made that piece of crap sound better .
I can weld steel and stainless so putting the pipe through the bed is no big deal .

get on ebay and look for a guy with a store called chromeroom. a lot of guys on here, myself included, bought our stacks off of him. hes got good stuff.
