Hidden Shackle Keyed Alike Trailer Locks #6271
I think those are better than these:
Master Lock - 5 Trailer Locks Keyed Alike
http://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-Tr...=pd_sbs_auto_1
will those fit on the door hasps?

I had the round locks for my enclosed car trailer but found they filled up with water and there was not a drain hole. I had to drain them by turning them upside down from time to time - finally replaced them when something rusted out in one of the locks and it became difficult to open.

or the totally covered locks?
i know your pain, i bought a set of 3 matched Master Padlocks locks & a set of 4 matched master long shackle locks. in the 5 years i have lived here, some of them are almost unusable.
i never use it, i use white lithium grease.
i grease my outside locks, but the in/out action seems to scrape the lubricant off and leave a bare place to rust.
the internals get hard to work too, i have to slam mine shut sometimes with a tool.
nothing lasts forever.

I did not see the first link - those look pretty secure. It looks like they would work the way the two tabs on the door hasps come together and the key hole would be at the bottom. The ones I had problems with were the ones in the second link. I tried WD-40 but it just washed out with the amount of water that collected.
I am now using these and they do not collect as much water but some still collects in the locks from the way the hasp sits on the trailer.

They work well on my cargo trailer -my buddy had to take a file to one of his hasps to use them ( one protruded a little further than the other). So far, so good - 3 years and a little WD - 40.

I've had the same #2 Master Locks on my trailer since 2002. One of them finally gave up on me. I'd say I've done very well with them considering they are just standard locks. I DO keep them lubed up though...
