Is there a good inline fuel filter I can put before my canister mounted pump?

I have an 04 w/ the filter mounted fuel pump. I know everyone here, including me, tries to filter as much junk out of the fuel before it hits the pump. If I buy the replacement pump from Genos then it comes with the little silver canister type fuel filter. Is that one the best I can get without buying some $300 setup that requires hours to install? My pump works fine and I have a spare that does too so since I don't plan on BOMBing anymore I want to keep my LP as healthy as possible. There is a length of hose right before the pump where I could install one like Genos uses but I'm wondering if there is a better one out there...

Please don't tell me to get a Raptor, or Fass, or Walbro setup. I just want to know if there is a good filter I can use that won't give me problems.....

I get real weary of the.."Fass, Raptor, Walbro schmutz all the time. I'm just a stock trucker and don't quite need the capacity to pump out my swimming pool in 15 minutes. I replaced my canister pump at about 75g's with Geno's replacement (not because it went out but I noticed with the fuel pressure gauge it dropped from around 9-10psi down to about 6-8psi.) I use a Napa #3270 inline (small silver filter)+a Baldwin in the canister with the new pump and it is back to 9-10psi. Every other filter change I change the Napa filter. 110g's now and still running like supposed too.....I guess I don't see the impending need to change the set up lest a great fuel disaster looms just below the horizon just waiting to reek havoc on my Fiat Ram.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna buy a couple and put them on the shelf right next to my other filters. I don't see a need for a better LP so I too am just gonna keep running the stocker. As I said, I keep a spare in my truck since it's pretty easy to change.....

If you will add Oz of outboard motor oil to you fuel this will let you pump last longer and let your Eng run quieter. I have been doing it for over 2 years and it has help my fuel millage a little. I use super tech TC w 3 Wal Mart oil Give it a try. You know that it is used in snowmobile in -40 and the gas does not freeze up with a 40:1 mix so you know it good to go. Do NOT use it in an 07 up that is already designed for the ULSD fuel
