Hey all,
I want to thank Tom & Will at BMD, and David and his crew at DPM, for putting a great event together!
I had a great time and met some new and old friends! Also, saw a lot of great looking and running trucks! (All Cummins power, of course)
I wish I could have been there to see Toms run with JR's injectors! Once Tom gets his fuel system setup....he will be easily over 500 hp! Time for me to spend more money to beef up for next year...hopefully I can obtain over 600 hp on #2!
Thanks again BMD, and DPM!

Yep, I had a blast, first time my truck had been dynoed

Hey Bill,

It was great to meet you! Nice truck and good #'s! 500 HP is almost a brick wall for 24v on #2 only with single chargers!

J.R.

Hey JR,
Like you said, I am pretty much at a brick wall with the single charger. I am going to try a couple different size injectors as we talked about, and see what I can come up with. I feel that I can get up into mid 500 hp with a bigger injector. I'll probably be able to make it, but it wont really be usable because of the heat, as we talked about. To make it usable I am going to have to slap on some twins, a cam, and some head work, or all of the above. I will probably end up going the twins, and head work route, and adding some more fuel via injectors.
I have the fuel pressure now all that I need is more air and fuel! You know how that goes!
I believe that the VP44 can flow more than 270cc's, with more fuel pressure, and volume than the stock configuration. We will see!

It was great meeting most of you guys and of course great getting with Tom and Will again. Penny and I had a great time (even though she was freezing). Bill's truck was one powerful 24v no doubt. Tom's truck went from 444 at level 9 to 480 with those injector's of J.R.'s with the box OFF :o :o. Imagine when Tom gets a pusher pump to help with pressure. :o (I've attached a copy of Tom's print out)
Bill know holds my HP record of 501 HP <--- Congrats Bill 8)
Special thanks to Tom and Will for being great hosts.

Brick wall, heehee, working on it, boys, working on it, got a set of twins coming up soon....
These injectors are insane... it's hilarious to me to see a 24V smoke as much as a 12... I'll have to try real hard not to poot around any DMV storm troopers...
I was surprised to see the Van Aaken on my truck put down bigger numbers than the EZ Edge I hooked up in comparision. I'm going to run dyno tests again as soon as I get the time and opportunity (with reasonable injectors, and with more than one truck) to compare the boxes...
One thing, though, with J.R.'s Knuckledragger injectors in the truck, throttle response is near instantaneous, where I had a bit of lag before. Third gear about pops a wheelie !

Justin,
Thanks! Your truck put down some really good numbers! I would love to have a 2wd like yours for drag racing......imagine the possibilites! LOL!
You are very close to breaking 500 hp......a little more fuel and you will be there! Hell its just a dyno event! As long the truck does what you want it to do......who cares how much power you have.............well I guess that would be a lot of us here! ;D
Hopefully I will be ready and have the time next year to pull and drag race as muh as I would like to!
