TC coming out of lockup
Every once in a while my TC will come out of lock up as i'm accelerating slowly then go back in, it used to happen more often, but it happened once last week, then again today, I've done a little research, but could only find stuff on first gens, which said it was the tps or something of that nature, is it something with the tranny? or a sensor somewhere? thanks ahead of time, other than that it runs fine.

I had the same problem axactly, cleaned battery terminals and it worked great. One tip though if yours is like mine it will just keep coroding, put vaseline on the terminals and you will never have this problem again.

I used to work at an auto parts store, so i have lots and lots of random chemicals lying around, along with some anti corrosion battery spray, I'll just coat the terminals with that after I take a wire brush to them should be fine, as is I see no corrosion, but I'll check my grounds and see how tight the terminals are on the batteries, thanks for your help, glad is nothing all that major and just "most likely" 30 minutes at most work.

More than likely it is your grounds to your PCM & grounds from your battery to the fender wells. Take the aircleaners off and remove the screws that hold the PCM on the firewall. Clean them up and you should be good to go. Take yout time, it's not a race.

Reset your APPS if it keeps unlocking. Here's how:
1. Set parking brake
2. Disconnect negative battery cables on both batteries
3. Turn ignition key to run (to drain any remaining capacitors)
4. Let truck sit for 30 minutes minimum, I let mine sit overnight.
5. Return ignition to OFF position
6. Reconnect both batteries and secure.
7. Turn key to run position(not start) and depress accelerator pedal slowly all the way to the floor
8. Allow pedal to return to top position slowly
9. Turn ignition switch OFF
10.Release parking brake
