TC and VB help

ok i know that my stock TC is shot and i kno that when i replace it i should get a VB too...so to my understanding a VB helps to make firmer shifts and firm shifts are good right? low or high stall speed? im wanted room to grow but at the same time im on a very limited budget...i have many good things about Dave G. and his products but have friends that have other brands and they like them too...sorry for all the dumb questions but i want to buy the right thing and not regret it later on.

Thanks
Asa

i have 2 tranys from dave and cant be any more happier. Call him and tell him what you want to do with the truck and he will walk you threw the whole thing, with a great price. He was the best price for my situation amd his trans are holding power most people cant afford( 800- 1000+).

I can only comment on what I have experienced and that is ATS' products. Their 5 star viscuss cluth T/C is incredible and is matched for the 5.9 cummins.
